Leymen is a small village in France next to the border with Switzerland near to Basel. For the purposes of SpottedWoodpecker, the bird spotting location includes the village, the castle, the woods and fields that take you to the Swiss border and half way to the neighbouring villages of Hagenthal and Liebenswiler. In line with the current trends towards right wing thinking of Brexit, Trump and Marine le Pen, no Swiss bird sightings allowed ;-)
